| On January 18, 2012, The Corpus Christi Human Resource Management Association (CCHRMA), in conjunction with the REDC, will present awards to the winners of The Best Places to Work in the Coastal Bend for 2011, and recognize all employers in the Coastal Bend that have helped in building our community one business at a time! The Awards Ceremony is to take place at the Solomon P. Ortiz Center from 11:30am to 1:15pm.
Mr. Richard Froeschle, Director of the Labor Market and Career Information department of the Texas Workforce Commission, will be the keynote speaker for the 9th Annual Best Places to Work Awards Ceremony. Mr. Froeschle will address the Changing Face of the Texas Labor Market. Mr. Froeschle presents a very upbeat presentation on the Texas Labor Market; you will not want to miss this very informative and entertaining event.
Proceeds from the event will support a $1,000 scholarship to a high school or college student pursuing one of the many career and technology degree plans offered at Del Mar College. The Corpus Christi Human Resource Management Association and the Best Places to Work Committee firmly believe in these educational programs, ranging from industrial to allied heath and nursing, to prepare a workforce in demand by area businesses.
Title sponsor for the 9th Annual Best Places to Work event is the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation. Sponsorships ranging from $500 to $3,000 are available. Individual tickets for the event are $35 with a table of 10 at $350. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
